How to create the Super Ego Search RSS Feed for yourself

Use Yahoo Pipes, of course.

The nice thing about Pipes, is that you can "massage" the data you recieve to get it just how you like it. for me that means:

  • gather the search feed on many terms from many different sources
  • Sort by date
  • remove redundant posts about the same post (unique by link)
  • remove the posts that are from my own blog (filter by link)

so that's what I did right here. you can have pipes create an RSS feed for that, and then wrap that up with FeedBurner for easy access at all times. For me that is: http://feeds.feedburner.com/Osherove
