# Got Proxy? Help me test The Regulator

By Roy Osherove October 27, 2003 In [Off Topic](https://osherove.com/blog/category/off-topic)

**Historical article** · Originally published October 27, 2003; technical details may be outdated.

One of the requests for [The Regulator](http://royo.is-a-geek.com/regulator) was that the web search will be able to use Proxy settings. While I've added the feature, I have no way to test it.

So.. if you're **not** in the PDC and **are** behind a proxy and **would** like to donate 5 minutes of your time, post a comment with your email and I'll contact you with details of where to get the bits.

Thanks.

**P.S.**

I'm thinking about making a “beta testing” group for this tool. If you're interested in being a part of this, write it in your comment.
