It really hurts when you're reading the paper and find a job listing such as this:

_**Web Designer/Graphic Artist/Receptionist
**
\[Name removed to protect the idiotic\] has an exciting opportunity in the south Charlotte, NC area for an individual that loves to wear many hats!
This unique position requires someone that has a great personality and a creative flare! ..._

I'm reminded of one of the places I worked in. It was a startup. Some of the C++ devs actually had to fill in for the secretary if she was sick, taking the day of, or creating presentations on the boss's laptop. If I remember correctly, one of the C++ devs was also forced into designing the company “site” using Frontpage (he had no web experience). Ah. Good times.
