# DotNetNuke Rocks!

By Roy Osherove November 20, 2003 In [.Net Original](https://osherove.com/blog/category/net-original)

**Historical article** · Originally published November 20, 2003; technical details may be outdated.

I've been wanting to make my [Regulator site](http://royo.is-a-geek.com/regulator) into a “real” site, so I checked out doing in using .Text. it was nice but it wasn't the “feel” i was looking for. Then I stumbled upon [DotNetNuke](http://www.dotnetnuke.com/) and boy am I impressed!

I used it to create my [personal homepage](http://royo.is-a-geek.com/) and also the new  [Regulator homepage](http://royo.is-a-geek.com/regulator) and I quite like the result. I recommend it with all my heart.
