# Blog: The Software Simplist

By Roy Osherove November 8, 2003 In [Blogging](https://osherove.com/blog/category/blogging)

**Historical article** · Originally published November 8, 2003; technical details may be outdated.

My friend, Udi Dahan, whom I've met at one of the user group meetings, just started his own blog:

[The Software Simplist](http://udidahan.weblogs.us/)  ([RSS](http://udidahan.weblogs.us/index.rdf))

From what I already know about Udi, this should prove to be pretty interesting. Udi has plenty of great and interesting ideas about software design and if he keeps up with blogging we should all benefit. **Welcome aboard**!

Oh, and I like his first quote:

_“Here's a quote that speaks volumes to me:_

_"People misinterpret complexity as sophistication." - Niklaus Wirth, the father of Pascal. ...“_

I like it.
