# My first MSDN article is out: Creating a plugin framework

By Roy Osherove December 18, 2003 In [.Net Original](https://osherove.com/blog/category/net-original), [Cool Articles](https://osherove.com/blog/category/cool-articles)

**Historical article** · Originally published December 18, 2003; technical details may be outdated.

**Update**: If you can't find the source code in the article to download, you can also get it [**from here**](http://msdnaa.net/Resources/Display.aspx?ResID=2197).

It took a looong time and some pretty heavy paperwork, but my first ever MSDN article is up and about on the [ASP.Net dev center](http://msdn.microsoft.com/asp.net/):

[Creating a plug-in framework](http://msdn.microsoft.com/asp.net/default.aspx?pull=/library/en-us/dnaspp/html/pluginframework.asp) (the link on the asp.net site)

And this is the direct link into the article on the MSDN library:

Thanks, [Kent](http://weblogs.asp.net/ksharkey/posts/44247.aspx) :)
