**Ilan Ramon** , The first israeli Astronaut, was barried today in israel.

All israel held hands and hopes as Ilan Ramon flew into space. All Isarel Stood with tears in their eyes as the news came to them. That was a very sad day. I salute you, Ilan. You have brought Hope, and perhaps even aided in bringing people togather.

The day it happened, All the Israeli TV was filled with interviews that were done with him prior to takeoff, and even one from a couple of years ago, when the STS107 was a go for the first time. he went on tv, and was charming and eloquent. He is (or was),i think, a mirror image of what people want themselves to be. There is now talk about the space flights continuing, with more israelis on board. Let it be.
