# Windows Server 2003 Rocks

By Roy Osherove April 27, 2003 In [Off Topic](https://osherove.com/blog/category/off-topic)

I've installed on my new machine Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. It totally rocks. The interface is great and it runs faster then XP!

I can't seem to get my Direct3D on the dxdiag console to work though...(so much for unreal 2003!)

You can tell they had some major work done on designing the usability interface. Having a "roles" wizard for the server totally makes sense. It makes you wonder why hasnt this been done before(or has it??)
