# Shortcuts: Object Search and Toolbox Magic

By Roy Osherove May 15, 2003 In [Tips & Tricks](https://osherove.com/blog/category/tips-tricks)

**Historical article** · Originally published May 15, 2003; technical details may be outdated.

Some more shortcuts I've learned:

**ALT+F12** - Open the "Object Search" window

**CTRL-ALT-X** \- Open the Toolbox window

**CTRL-Up/Down** - With the toolbox window open, Navigate between the different Toolbox panes (Useful for moving to the Multiple Copy/Paste - memories!)

And of course, In any active dockable pane - **ESC** brings you back to the code window..
