[Frans](http://dotnetweblogs.com/fbouma/) posts an [interesting observation](http://dotnetweblogs.com/fbouma/posts/6767.aspx) on the current problems with relational database, and possible futuristic ways of dealing with them. A tough read, but insightful.

Some of the things I've always taken for granted in relational DB development are brought to question here and really make you think about alternative ways of working with data.
