# Skill Evaluation

By Roy Osherove July 23, 2003 In [.Net Original](https://osherove.com/blog/category/net-original)

**Historical article** · Originally published July 23, 2003; technical details may be outdated.

I was listening to the [.Net Rocks](http://www.franklins.net/dotnetrocks.asp) show a few days ago, and heard a very interesting idea:

Mark and Carl offered their services as "Skills evaluators". Basically if you're a company that wants to hire someone as a .Net developer, yet you have no one qualified enough in your company that can truly evaluate just how technically able that person really is, you send that person over to them for evaluation, and they tell you exactly how good this person really is.

Very nice idea, and pretty simple too.

So, **I'll offer my services here**. If anyone based in Israel is looking to hire a .Net developer, and have no way to check this person for what their really worth, contact me, I'll be happy to help evaluate this person over a phone interview.

I'll even throw in a special: first 5 customers get a **free** interview. How's that?
