# Cool debugging tool of the day: Developer Playground

_My friend_ [_Jonas Blunck_](http://www.blunck.info/ "http://www.blunck.info")_, author of the most excellent_ [_ieHTTPHeaders_](http://www.blunck.info/iehttpheaders.html "http://www.blunck.info/iehttpheaders.html") _and_ [_ComTrace_](http://www.blunck.info/comtrace.html "http://www.blunck.info/comtrace.html")_, dropped me a line a couple of days ago, to let me know he's dropped a new development tool --_ [_Developer Playground_](http://www.blunck.info/dp.html "http://www.blunck.info/dp.html")_. This is yet another piece of pure debugging magic that Jonas (and_ [_Kim Grasman_](http://www.winwonk.com/ "http://www.winwonk.com/")_) have put together -- and a must have for anyone doing any serious debugging or reverse engineering type work... The short list of features from their site includes:_

> -   _Shows run-time DLL dependencies for running processes_
> -   _Hooks any process, and tracing single calls to external DLLs_
> -   _Integrates with favorite tools such as Google, OleView, Depends and the Explorer_
> -   _Saves trace output to text file_
> -   _Comes with semi-integrated HTML help (not that it's necessary)_
