# Unit testing links, and NUnit Add-in rocks

By Roy Osherove September 4, 2003 In [Cool Articles](https://osherove.com/blog/category/cool-articles)

**Historical article** · Originally published September 4, 2003; technical details may be outdated.

While browsing around [Jamie's weblog](http://weblogs.asp.net/nunitaddin), I noticed two very interesting links concerning Unit testing:

- [Test-Driven Development In .NET](http://www.peterprovost.org/wiki/ow.asp?Test%2DDriven%5FDevelopment%5FIn%5F%2ENET)
- [Unit Testing and Test-First Development](http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dncscol/html/csharp03202003.asp)

Next week I'm planning on opening the first of hopefully many .Net study group in my new job. My topic of choice was doing Unit tests with [NUnit](http://www.nunit.org/) and the [NUnit](http://www.nunit.org/) add-in. These links should be pretty helpful to organize my thoughts on this.

I'd like to say one more thing. [Jamie cansdale](http://weblogs.asp.net/nunitaddin)'s [](http://www.mutantdesign.co.uk/nunit-addin/)[NUnit](http://www.nunit.org/) Addin is one of the most useful pieces of software I have ever used, and is a tribute to Jamie's total and utter coolness. **Thanks Jamie** :) You've helped make my (and many others, including my users) life a little easier and elegant.
