# Shame on me

A few months ago , I [posted a short blurb](http://weblogs.asp.net/rosherove/archive/2003/09/08/26679.aspx) about the a paragraph from \[[Mystic Microsoft - chapter 11](http://www.anandasangha.net/mysticmicrosoft/Chapter11.htm)\], a book by Kraig Brockschmidt, who is also known as the guy who wrote "[Inside OLE](https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1556158432/iserializable-20)". The blurb took a single remark by Kraig out of context and related it to what I had recently blogged about at the time: "[The Impostor syndrome](http://weblogs.asp.net/rosherove/posts/10573.aspx)".

Today, I got a scathing comment on that post by Kraig himself, explaining the context of that sentence and adding "_shame on you for making blanket assumptions about people you've never met_".

I'm sorry. Please accept my apologies.
