# Unit testing and test driven resources

By Roy Osherove March 18, 2004 In [.Net Quotations](https://osherove.com/blog/category/net-quotations)

**Historical article** · Originally published March 18, 2004; technical details may be outdated.

Someone asked me about resources for learning to do test driven development and unit testing.

[Darrell Norton has collected a nice set of resources on his blog](http://dotnetjunkies.com/weblog/darrell.norton/posts/3374.aspx). This is a great place to start.

I was thinking of suggesting a user group talk about unit tests and test driven development. What do you think? From my experience if the audience does not actually **do** this **hands on** while learning, it's very hard to “get” the mindset needed for test driven development, but I could be wrong..
