**Historical article** · Originally published March 5, 2004; technical details may be outdated.

I need to remind myself :

- I need to check out the [outlook search plugin](http://blogs.officezealot.com/MT/mt-tb.cgi?__mode=view&entry_id=407)
- [P/Invoke Interop Headers for C#](http://www.gotdotnet.com/Community/UserSamples/Details.aspx?SampleGuid=f1dd70e4-c212-4a6f-bff7-c82e34c8836f) - Every tried to write a P/Invoke signature by hand? It can be challenging for some parts of the Win32 API. Although of course, it is so much better when you don't have to do this. \[via [Brad Abrams](http://blogs.msdn.com/brada/archive/2004/02/28/81586.aspx)\]  (via [Peter](http://www.peterprovost.org/weblog/PermaLink.aspx?guid=43df90f2-cc65-42b3-ae15-0b0390c0d552))
- [Testing ASP.NTE Applications with NUnitASP and NUnit](http://www.theserverside.net/articles/article.aspx?l=TestingASP) - A handy step-by-step guide from Justin Gehtland. (this and the next one via [LarkWare](http://www.larkware.com/))
- [Advanced Unit Test, Part V - Unit Test Patterns](http://www.codeproject.com/gen/design/autp5.asp) - Marc Clifton considers his excellent series formalizing unit testing.
- Stuff I did not know about [inline **DevDoc** documentation](http://www.hanselman.com/blog/PermaLink.aspx?guid=e5aebe9b-2bec-493c-bab1-3cbf88f459c1) (sadly only for C#?)
- [Some things **do** have a happy ending](http://hdconsultants.us/archive/2004/03/05/481.aspx). Frans's [reported Code Theft](http://weblogs.asp.net/fbouma/archive/2004/02/29/81692.aspx) was magically solved after a [quick ping](http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=04/03/03/230230) up to the SlashDot gods, by Shannon J. Hagger. Coolness.
- Read the [latest MSDN magazine](http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/04/04/default.aspx), especially the parts about using the [.Net Profiling API](http://www.furrygoat.com/archives/000522.html#000522)s (via [FurryGoat](http://www.furrygoat.com/archives/000924.html))
- [BIG VISIBLE CHARTS](http://www.xprogramming.com/xpmag/BigVisibleCharts.htm) is a good way to go on a project. I agree.
- [Slate](http://www.slate.com/) launched [their RSS feed](http://slate.msn.com/rss/) today, and with it, published an excellent [**introduction to RSS article**](http://slate.msn.com/id/2096660/) by [Paul Boutin](http://paulboutin.weblogger.com/). (via [Luke](http://www.hutteman.com/weblog/2004/03/04-167.html))
- The [Offline Application Block](http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnpag/html/offline-ch03.asp) went live (via [The Technologist](http://blog.thetechnologist.net/PermaLink,guid,d3c4e8e9-1c3e-4732-9940-c23684f6ebfb.aspx)) (yeah I know I'm late on that one)
- [The Technologist](http://blog.thetechnologist.net/) Also has a very detailed article : [The life of an HTTP Request](http://blog.thetechnologist.net/PermaLink,guid,2212a7d2-5a91-4d14-8365-e11698c19dee.aspx). Looks like everything I ever wanted to know, or didn't even know there was in the ASP.Net Request process.
- The more I [hear](http://www.cincomsmalltalk.com/blog/blogView?showComments=true&entry=3255928243) and [read](http://www.cincomsmalltalk.com/blog/blogView?showComments=true&entry=3255203065) about _SmallTalk_, the more I feel like I'm missing something incredibly good. I just wish I had a working incentive to check it out more professionaly.
- [](https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/subst/xs/syndicate.html/102-2669021-0554567)[Amazon](https://osherove.com/blog/2004/3/5/www.amazon.com) now has a ton of predefined search feeds. Wow. (via [Cincom](http://www.cincomsmalltalk.com/blog/blogView?showComments=true&entry=3255792672))
- If you use Borland Tools, [check out their feeds](http://news.borland.com/). Lots of good content for that developer community.... (again via [Cincom](http://www.cincomsmalltalk.com/blog/blogView?showComments=true&entry=3255678614))
- If I need to start learning about Indigo from the start, [this is where I would start](http://msdn.microsoft.com/theshow/episode040/default.asp).
- Ooh! [FreeTextBox](http://www.freetextbox.com/) 2.0 has been released! (via [Scott](http://scottwater.com/blog/archive/2004/03/01/11470.aspx))
- [Useful .NET Performance Links](http://weblogs.asp.net/mdavey/archive/2004/03/05/84331.aspx)
- [FindStr.exe](http://blogs.regexadvice.com/DNeimke/archive/2004/02/29/664.aspx) - an egrep-like tool (Find in files based on regex). And here's a good [how to use it](http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/findstr.mspx) article. (both via [Darren](http://blogs.regexadvice.com/DNeimke/archive/2004/02/29/664.aspx))

Enough for now. Maybe more later...
