# Got new books!

By Roy Osherove May 7, 2004 In [Recommended books](https://osherove.com/blog/category/recommended-books)

**Historical article** · Originally published May 7, 2004; technical details may be outdated.

Just got these books:

- [Coder To Developer](https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/078214327X/iserializable-20) by [Mike Gunderloy](http://www.larkware.com/) \- which I have a strong feeling is going to be next month's _Book of the month_
- [Designing highly usable software](https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0748401121/iserializable-20)
- [Effective software test automation](https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0782143202/iserializable-20)

The last two I didn't get a chance to actually read yet so I don't know how good they are. I'll let you know.

However, next week I'm expecting to recive these two wonderful books:

- [Test Driven Development in .Net](https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0735619484/iserializable-20)
- [Framework Class Library Annotated reference volume 1](https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0321154894/iserializable-20)

both of which I can recommend both from all the other reviews I've heard and based on what I've been able to read from them thus far.
