Watch me speak: eXtreme Programming and Agile concepts, at the .Net Architects user group this month
Greetings Israeli .NET architect!
You are welcome to attend our next meeting to be held on July 5th.
Please note that this is the June meeting and has been postponed due to coordination problems.
This month, we will discuss eXtreme programming and agile concepts. This unusual, yes interesting topic is gaining momentum in the industry.
This talk will introduce the basic concepts behind the “Extreme Programming” development methodology, and the rationales behind it. We will also talk about some of the more “controversial” aspects of it – Test Driven Development and Pair Programming, with anecdotes from real world experience with these concepts.
Besides introduction to these concepts we will also cover some of the methods used to teach development teams these practices, and what it takes from both the technical side and the managerial, political side of things.
Get ready to open your minds - It’s gonna get bumpy!
