# Being an INETA speaker?

By Roy Osherove July 19, 2004 In [Off Topic](https://osherove.com/blog/category/off-topic)

**Historical article** · Originally published July 19, 2004; technical details may be outdated.

Hmm. What I would \*really\* love to do is be an [INETA](http://www.ineta.org/) speaker. You get to travel the globe (the closer part of it, anyway) and talk to interesting people about interesting subjects. now - how does one get such a gig? where do you turn to? I see no membership application up there on the site. any ideas? clues?

Topics could probably include : TDD,XP,architecture, ADO.Net,Regex, plugins, reflection. you know - the cool stuff.
