# \[OT\] Infinite Cat

Silly as it may seem, I was laughing out loud to myself while browsing [this site](http://www.infinitecat.com/). Yes. It's [the Infinite cat project](http://www.infinitecat.com/).

Got it through [Rory](http://neopoleon.com/blog/posts/12503.aspx) through [Richard](http://www.tallent.us/blog/commentview.aspx?guid=5f58c4e1-817a-47a6-83cf-c1d1cd97b9cc).

The idea is as simple as it is hypnotic. Some guy took [a picture of his cat](http://www.infinitecat.com/infinite/cat-html/1.html). And some other guy took a picture of [his cat watching the original cat](http://www.infinitecat.com/infinite/cat-html/2.html). And the next guy took a picture of his own cat watching the second picture etc. The result is actually quite cool. It's even cooler if you start [from the middle](http://www.infinitecat.com/infinite/cat-html/112.html) and work your way back to the original picture. It's totally hypnotic.

Anyway, I'll shut up now.
