# Two small irrelevant tips

By Roy Osherove October 2, 2005 In [Off Topic](https://osherove.com/blog/category/off-topic)

This is something I didn't find out until a few days ago. **What happens** when you search for "new York weather" on google? [Find out.](http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=new+york+weather)

**How do you get rid of the annoying irritating useless "personal tabs" in MSN Messenger**? It seems like MS does not want you to do that, so they "hid" the option for this under "tools-options-security". Simply check the "this is  a public computer so don't show my tabs". I have to wonder if this is a simple usability issue or a little hidden agenda (or both).
