# Cool Error Correction Dialog in VS 2005

By Roy Osherove November 10, 2005 In [.Net 2.0](https://osherove.com/blog/category/net-2-0)

I didn't know this, and this is something I [could have used](http://weblogs.asp.net/rosherove/archive/2005/11/04/429455.aspx)...

" For most of the System errors that the compiler is reporting **if you place your cursor over the little glyph at the end of the error squiqqle you get an Error Correction dialogue** which offers up the fix to add Global as the very first option."
