# RSS support from YNet Israel - Finally

By Roy Osherove May 3, 2005 In [Off Topic](https://osherove.com/blog/category/off-topic)

**Historical article** · Originally published May 3, 2005; technical details may be outdated.

Now, when my parents ask me what RSS is, I can just point them to [the new set of RSS feeds](http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-3080241,00.html#n) provided by one of Israel's largest online news sites  - [YNet](http://www.ynet.co.il/)(from one of the three major newspapers in Israel).

And, FINALLY, [a good description of RSS](http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/1,7340,L-2858430,00.html) for non-techies, in **Hebrew**. It takes a marketing department (and thus, money) to explain it, so I'm glad this is slowly becoming mainstream.
