.NET Architecture clinic with Juval Lowy this week at Israel (free)

The August IVBUG meeting will be on Wednesday August 24.  This is so that we can take advantage of Juval Lowy being in Israel that week and agreeing to speak to us.  It will be a combined meeting together with the C# User Group.  Here is the topic outline:

NET Architecture Clinic

Wonder about .NET architecture best practices, guidelines and pitfalls? Wonder how to design world-class .NET-based systems? You understand the concepts but not how to apply them? Bring your questions to this real-time design session with Juval Lowy. In the first half of this high pace session, Juval will explain his original approach to large system analysis design and his IDesign Method™. Then, he will solicit, from a volunteer, requirements for an actual application, and will proceed in real time to design the system, outlining the architecture that addresses the requirements, discussing logical tiers, security, interoperability, scalability, transactions, and other aspects of an Enterprise .NET application. You will see how to approach rarely discussed topics such as allocation of components to assemblies, allocation of assemblies to processes, identity management, authorization and authentication boundaries and more.

Juval will also be offering several seminars and classes while in Israel – details can be found at www.idag.co.il

Please remember that it is important for me to know as accurately as possible how many people will be attending each meeting, so that I can arrange for the right amount of food and the proper setup of the chairs.  Please confirm your attendance.

See you there !!
