# Picasa "Hello" is cool + a nice tip about using Hello

By Roy Osherove August 23, 2005 In [Cool Tools](https://osherove.com/blog/category/cool-tools)

**Historical article** · Originally published August 23, 2005; technical details may be outdated.

I you haven't tried "[Hello](http://www.hello.com/)" from Picasa, you should seriously give it a try. It's a way to share pictures and chat with your friends at the same time. Sounds lame but it's actually pretty nice.

You can also blog pictures directly from it (if you have Picasa along with it it's perfect) into a Blogger.Com blog.

Now, here's a cool tip I just discovered using Hello. Start a chat with a friend and send them a picture. Now, when the picture is in the preview pane, write any of the following:

lol

:)

:(

See what happens.

If you wanna something really cool just paste in the following:

:) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol :) :) lol lol
