I'm in the process of trying to implement an Agile Conference here in Israel somewhere in the first half of next year.

The plan is to have a two day event with talks and workshops from well known international speakers in the Agile Field coupled with talks from local speakers on Agile development tools for .NET and Other languages (Java for example)

 

To create something like this, one needs to justify the cost of creating such an event for the sponsors. The main thing is to actually be sure that enough people show up and pay up the entrance fee. I'm still not sure how much an entrance will cost, but I'm asking you , the Israeli reader - do you think your company would pay up to send you to such an event? If so - what do you expect to hear and learn there?

I'm also checking the feasibility through other channels, but I figure the readers of this blog are a great source of information on this. Feel free to write if you'd like this idea or not, and how much would you be willing to shell out to listen or attend the workshops in this two day event.
