# New blog from NUnit primary maintainer - Charlie Poole

By Roy Osherove September 14, 2005 In [Agile Related](https://osherove.com/blog/category/agile-related)

**Historical article** · Originally published September 14, 2005; technical details may be outdated.

[Charlie Poole](http://www.pooleconsulting.com/) finally [has a blog](http://nunit.com/blogs). Charlie is the primary maintainer and caretaker of [NUnit](http://www.nunit.org/) for quite some time now, and it's great to finally be able to read his thoughts and comment on them, rather than doing so on a mailing-list basis.

I'd recommend anyone interested in Agile, XP, Unit testing and test driven development to read his blog. Hopefully - he'll keep it up (and from my experience - the more you realize someone actually reads your blog, the more you'll maintain it)

His [first real post](http://nunit.com/blogs/?p=8) talks about slow-vs. fast unit tests (i.e integration tests?) and starts an interesting discussion correlating them to user stories and costs in an XP project. I'd have to sleep on that thought a little, but it sure is interesting.
