# Database Rollback with FIT tests: A nice adaptation

By Roy Osherove January 27, 2006 In [Agile Related](https://osherove.com/blog/category/agile-related), [Team Agile News](https://osherove.com/blog/category/team-agile-news)

**Historical article** · Originally published January 27, 2006; technical details may be outdated.

[Tim Gifford](http://blogs.giffordconsulting.com/) liked my [solution to Handling Database rollback issues](http://weblogs.asp.net/rosherove/articles/DbUnitTesting.aspx) with nit/Integration tests. So he [found a way to integrate that method into Fit/Fitness](http://blogs.giffordconsulting.com/archive/2006/01/25/3779.aspx) - What'sw [Fit](http://fit.c2.com/)? an acceptance tool which should be more well known than it is.

If you're using Fit tests in your projects, this is a nice adaptation of the Enterprise services transaction principle for rolling back your database changes.
