# VB.NET 2.0 Vs. C\# 2.0: Nice event photo

By Roy Osherove January 7, 2006 In [Off Topic](https://osherove.com/blog/category/off-topic)

**Historical article** · Originally published January 7, 2006; technical details may be outdated.

Ohad has [published some of the event photos](http://weblogs.asp.net/israelio/archive/2006/01/05/434590.aspx) from the VS Launch event held in Israel last month.

Here's one from the session [Jackie Goldstein](http://weblogs.asp.net/jackieg/archive/2005/12/21/433707.aspx) and me did together on new stuff in .NET 2.0 people should know about. Jackie represented the VB side while I represented the C# side. It was a pretty funny face off, which hopefully you can tell from the picture (Jackie is on the right, I'm on the left)
