# Nice Israeli Blog from the Agile\\Java World

By Roy Osherove February 3, 2007 In [Agile](https://osherove.com/blog/category/agile)

**Historical article** · Originally published February 3, 2007; technical details may be outdated.

[Guy Nirpaz](http://jroller.com/page/gnirpaz) is VP R&D of [GigaSpaces](http://www.gigaspaces.com/) from Israel.

He's a strong Agile proponent, and runs an interesting blog with an Agile slant, talking about Java Development, his open source projects, and how [they are successfully implementing the Scrum Agile Methodology in their organization](http://jroller.com/page/gnirpaz?entry=we_love_scrum_at_gigaspaces).

Much like [Ayende](http://www.ayende.com/), he talks a lot about [containers](http://jroller.com/page/gnirpaz?entry=containers_spring_and_sba) and Inversion of Control, but from the Java Perspective.

A nice blog to have in your RSS reader to get some points of view from the Java Side.
