# Microsoft eScrum Version 1.0?

By Roy Osherove June 13, 2007 In [Agile](https://osherove.com/blog/category/agile), [Agile Related](https://osherove.com/blog/category/agile-related), [General Software Devel...](https://osherove.com/blog/category/general-software-devel)

This looks interesting:

[Microsoft eScrum Version 1.0](http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=55a4bde6-10a7-4c41-9938-f388c1ed15e9&displaylang=en&tm)

You know, I really hate Microsoft naming conventions. How uncool do they make this sound?

I wonder if it has anything to do with

[Scrum For Team System](http://scrumforteamsystem.com/) or is it a separate endeavor?

**Update: From [adamga's blog](http://blogs.msdn.com/adamga/archive/2007/06/13/microsoft-escrum-version-1-0.aspx):**

>  Not to be confused with the [Conchango](http://www.conchango.com/Web/Public/Content/Home.aspx) offering, this is eScrum that was developed internally at Microsoft for our internal use, and is now being made available to the public. Included is a process template for Team Foundation Server.
