# Introducing 5Whys.com

By Roy Osherove September 6, 2009 In [Agile](https://osherove.com/blog/category/agile)

**Historical article** · Originally published September 6, 2009; technical details may be outdated.

I created [5Whys](http://5whys.com/) because… well – [here’s why](http://5whys.com/blog/the-first-five-whys.html).

This blog will remain about TDD and other things, but 5Whys.com will be about a focused gateway to developers who want to be better, and team leads who want to be better.

And I’ll ask you one more thing: [what would you tell a newly minted team lead on his first day](http://5whys.com/blog/call-for-content-ndash-what-do-new-team-leads-to-know-on-the.html), that they could not find in any book?
