While working at Typemock, we got a few review licenses of PostSharp.
I had known the product from it’s version 1.0 days, and was determined on using it to apply logging and tracing into our applications (such as Test Lint).
It’s been a great experience working with it. For that task, PostSharp was great, and worked perfectly in conjunction with other products such as SmartInspect and others.
The only problems I’ve experienced with it were actually related to Typemock Isolator disturbing it just a little bit. Unfortunately we never got to fix those little bugs in Isolator, but that should not be a problem for most anyone.
I’d highly recommend it as infrastructure for logging\tracing abilities that “just works”.
