Enterprise Instrumentation Framework Released

"With absolutely no fanfare, Enterprise Instrumentation Framework has released.  EIF lets you instrument your applications with tracing information that's meant to be left in while the application is in production.  Tracing can be turned on and off, and directed to various sinks, simply by modifying a configuration file at run time.  You can trace user operations, class operations, requests as they travel through a distributed application, or just about anything else you can imagine.

Check it out.
