"You are welcome to attend the July meeting to be held on July 27th. The meeting will focus on the new .NET Application Blocks
This month, our presenter is Avi Ben-Menachem, a senior consultant at Microsoft Consulting Services.
This presentation will cover the PAG application blocks that are reusable components and associated guidance for performing common application development functions such as SQL Data access, configuration management and application instrumentation. Blocks greatly improve developer productivity when building everyday applications. An overview of the PAG architecture and the blocks' relationship to this architecture will be provided. A breakdown of the blocks existing, expected lifetime, and roadmap for future blocks will be provided. The benefits and limitations of using the blocks will be explained in detail with code samples.
