Summery:
We all develop screens. In some cases these are loaded input screens, in other cases OLAP or other Data Analysis systems. Sometimes these may be very complicated screens, in others, two fields and a single submit button.
The main question is how to design these screens to be efficient and comfortable to use?
This presentation will discuss different aspects of the design of single screens. Navigation will not be discussed (practically), only ways to design screens for efficient and comfortable use. To this end, rules of thumb as well as in-depth explanations will be given regarding the way that the human data processing unit works in regard to the implications on interface design.
