Team System Unit Testing May finally be "OK"

image All I can say is, It's about time. I'm getting tired of apologizing for the Microsoft Team System Unit Testing framework, or ranting on it. Perhaps now it can be truly usable without the aid of external helpers such as TestDriven.NET, or be at least on par with NUnit in terms of... not having so many bugs.

Peter Provost posted about upcoming features and fixes in the orcas (VS 2008) product:

"

  1. Better Execution Times
  2. Run Tests Context Menus
  3. Short cut keys to run tests (WOOT!)
  4. Disable the "test deployment" icki-ness
  5. Support for the Abstract Test Pattern via Test inheritance (boo!)
  6. Click thru to the point of failure"
