This site looks like a very promising resource for learning the basics (and no so basics) of JavaScript. It's something I'm just getting the hang of, and already I've found it very useful with a discussion about the various ways of using an IFRAME.
This site is by no means “complete” but it serves as a good “A real-world developer's JavaScript toolkit”.
